Our history

Ahmed Alsanawi and his wife and business partner, Tanya started A Star in 2013. In a short space of time, the barbershop has grown into a successful business and is the home to some professional footballers and walk-in customers alike. The multi-award-winning power team consisting of members Ahmed, Abs, Sam, Theo, Jake and Jack deliver the best trims in the country.

In 2017, A Star launched two further brands; A Star Tattoos, which has our super talented artist Dan delivering a range of artistic designs from small pieces to full body artwork. A Star Coffee was also launched offering customers the freshest selection of beverages and food.

Fini by A-Star is the first haircare product to infuse Oud fragerance.

Our unique formulation has been developed over several years combining the best product ingredients along with the best fragrances.
